Kindness costs nothing. It comes from Allah, and should be returned to Allah through good deeds to people, animals, environment, the earth...

and don't forget, 

to spare kindness for yourself too, 

you should be kind to you, 

your body, mind and soul- they own the right to get close to Allah in any actions you do.
